Toddlers, sneakers, and even scales can tweet – so why not dogs?

OMG! When I read this I almost fell over! Is it a hoax or is this for real... apparently so, now you can let your dogs tweet even if it is a random canned tweet that they have no control over the message other than when it is sent (when they bark or move) was featured on The Huffington Post.

A new Twitter-enabled dog collar called 'Puppy Tweets' from Mattel will allow Fido to broadcast its everyday actions on Twitter. Read the full story by Andrea Chang at LA Times

AND if that is not good enough for your pooch than Japan has something better... iPhone App Enables Dogs to Be Emo on Twitter

"If you want your dog to tweet but aren't sold on Puppy Tweets, check out Japan's BowLingual. The app, which should be available in English later this year, promises to analyze your dog's bark and translate it into one of six emotions, which it then syncs with a phrase that corresponds to that feeling. That phrase can then be tweeted out through your dog's Twitter account."

Walking While Texting: Should There Be a Law?

Next time you see someone walking and texting, give them a nudge in the shoulder as you walk by and say "HELLO" – share the delight of human interaction!

States in dark blue ban texting for all drivers. Light blue indicates states weighing legislation to ban texting for all drivers. Gray indicates states with no active legislation. Finally the US is seeing some sense! I am amazed everyday at how bad the roads are getting by drivers who are doing 3 things at once... either talking or texting as well as drinking their coffee or reading a map quest printout... leaving no hands on the wheel? A friend has even seen a lady eating a bowl of cereal while talking on the phone and driving, now that's talent or an accident waiting to happen!
